"Why demand logic of an action movie released in February, when audiences just want a nice, bumpy ride?"

I spent most of February on the desk, churning away at front pages and assignment editing. Here's some work from when I was shooting, which seems like forever ago.

"[...] Skillfully marshals all the familiar elements. That's the damn problem."

 Some extras. Some scenes. From a couple trips last year. Here's to this year. And a bit more of this.

"For all its professionalism, I found it as cold as the ice rink at Rockefeller Center."

 The "Polar Vortex" came and went. It was cold, but not horribly cold like in other places. I was on the desk, so it was great to escape the stuffiness of the office and out into the bitter cold. I didn't shoot much, but here's some pictures, but mostly a bunch of snow drifts.

"[...] Presenting not one single idea that hasn't been flogged down to the bone over the past 60 years, and spackling over its emaciated drama with suffocating production values."

Sometimes I think to myself "I should blog," and then I decide I don't have enough work to blog. And then later, when I finally decide to blog, I think to myself "why did I wait so long? It's perfectly acceptable to blog one or two pictures..."
