"It doesn't reinvent the genre, but it is a strong addition to the canon of films that fuse teenage anxieties of the body and social interaction with blood-soaked storytelling"

I haven't shot nearly as much sports as I did last year.
Be it the way the shifts fall, or because I'm working on other stuff.
But when I do, it's kind of nice.
To be able to sit back and comfortably shoot.
Shooting for fun on the sidelines.
Less time searching and more time letting things happen.
 Focusing on the team.
 Focusing on the little things.
So I won't complain when I have to shoot.
Until it gets to cold. And then I get tired of being inside. And then repeat.

"Mostly a lot of noise and nonsense, a garish enterprise that almost — though not quite — trivializes the tale."

A spattering of daily assignments from the last month or so.
Because I was too lazy to do it before now.
And now, once again, I'm flooding the blog with too many pictures. Thanks for looking!

"Overlong, overly broad and overly familiar. But not without its charms."

Usually in the fall we're doing a lot of farming/harvesting related assignments.
Which is always fun. Riding around on tractors and walking in the fields. Being outside.
This quick hit farming feature had the added angle of the subject being a six-year-old girl.
It was cool to see her work, talking through things with her dad, and just enjoying the time spent.
She's pretty dang smart, too.
Instead of just hanging out for one day before her morning selling at the farmer's market, I decided to spend a bit more time with them.
Nothing major, nothing groundbreaking, but fun.
Even if it meant getting up stupidly early in the morning on a Saturday.
 It was definitely worth it.
So obviously here are some pictures. Probably too many,
But whatever, I had fun while shooting it.
So you can deal with a couple more pictures than necessary.
 Thanks for looking.
