For the second time this season, Dow played their crosstown rival, Midland. This time to continue their season and win their district. Above is a scene from an impromptu yell night.

 This was only the second time they've played each other twice in a season, and Dow was ready to make up for an embarrassing loss.

 But poor discipline and several costly mistakes got the best of them.

 And their postseason ended the same way the regular season did. With an embarrassing final score.

I haven't shot as much football as I did last year.

But with a big game coming up on Friday -- big enough to probably warrant its own blog post -- I figured I'd share some frames from the last two games I shot.

It's just as big a thing for high school sports as it is for college hoops.



A lot of driving to districts and regionals. A lot of games. A lot of drama.



Last second shots to tie or win. A free throw deciding the outcome of the game.



Undefeated teams falling early.



Other teams making a run all the way to States.



And then the final minutes tick away. 



And another private school beats the local squad.
