Just before Easter I was sent out on a little scavenger hunt to go and photograph some of the various church steeples around Midland county.



I figured I would have some fun with it so I decided to set aside the ole SLR and use hop on the tintype bandwagon.



So with Sammy Jo in the passenger seat, we drove around for an afternoon. The next morning I set out to grab a couple more.



It's funny, because now whenever I drive around the county I look at all the steeples I didn't get to.



I went diagonally across the county, northwest to southeast.



Maybe I should go take another drive northeast to southwest.

Here's the final result. And since I'm the topic, a quick shout out to Nick and Neil (and Thomas and Brittney). We just found out we received an honorable mention for Newspaper Picture Editing Team in BOP. Needless to say we're pretty excited.
